Dr Jaafar Abduo

Dr Jaafar Abduo is a Prosthodontic specialist with expertise in Restorative Dentistry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 from Otago University in New Zealand, where he subsequently completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics in 2010. He received his PhD at the University of Western Australia in 2016. He is also a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. With more than 10 years of experience in Australia and New Zealand, he has covered all aspects of prosthetic dentistry. His clinical practice provides the full scope of fixed and removable prosthodontics, including implants, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation and management of temporomandibular disorders.
Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics at the Melbourne Dental School. He is fully updated with the most recent developments in dentistry. Jaafar is heavily involved in academic teaching and dental research related to prosthetic dentistry. He has published more than 40 scientific articles. In addition, he is a regular reviewer for numerous international journals.
